Bedeutung/Ursprung der Flagge:	Meaning/Origin of the Flag:
Die Farben der Flagge der Provinz Sachsen, Gelb (Gold) und Schwarz, haben ihre historischen Wurzeln im sächsischen Wappenschild, der im Wappen auf der Dienstflagge zu sehen ist. Für die Provinz Sachsen wurde die Anordnung der Farben im Schild umgekehrt, so dass das Gelb oben liegt. Interessanterweise fand dies keinen Niederschlag in der Anordnung der Farben auf der Flagge. Eigentlich müsste auch hier Gelb oben liegen.	The colours of the flag of the Province Saxony, yellow (gold) and black, have their historical roots in the saxonian blazon, which is to see in the coat of arms on the official flag. For the Province of Saxony was the arrangement of the colors in the shield inverted, so that the yellow came to the top. It is interesting that this was not mirrored in the arrangement of the colors on the flag. Actually there must even here yellow lie aloft.
