Die Flagge der Provinz Westpreußen zeigt drei waagerechte Streifen in Schwarz, Weiß und Schwarz, ist also eine Kombination aus den preußischen Farben Schwarz und Weiß. Besonders charakteristisch ist der im Wappen dargestellte Adler. Er hat außer Flügeln noch einen Schwertarm.
