| Die Flagge von Kuala Lumpur zeigt deutlich die Symbolik der Flagge Malaysias: vierzehn weiße und rote Streifen, das Blau, der gelbe Halbmond und der gelbe vierzehnzackige Stern. Die Gestaltung lässt erkennen, dass es sich bei Kuala Lumpur um ein Bundesterritorium des Staates Malaysia, und nicht um einen föderalen Bestandteil dieses Landes handelt. | The flag of Kuala Lumpur shows
clearly the symbolism of the flag of Malaysia: fourteen white and red stripes, the blue, the yellow half-moon and the yellow fourteen-pointed star. The design shows that Kuala Lumpur is a federal territory of the state Malaysia, and not a federal element of that land. |
