Bedeutung/Ursprung der Flagge – Meaning/Origin of the Flag:
Akrothiri und Dhekelia haben keine eigene Flagge. Es werden die Flaggen Großbritanniens verwendet. Eine angebliche inoffizielle Flagge zeigt ein grünes Flaggentuch mit zwei goldenen Leoparden. Es soll sich dabei um die Farben einer ehemaligen britischen Einheit in Dhekelia handeln. Akrothiri and Dhekelia do not have their own flag. There are in use the flags of Great Britain. An alleged unofficial flag shows a green bunting with two golden leopards.
This should be, the colours of a former British unit in Dhekelia.
