The in 1945 founded Organization of the United Nations for Food and Agriculture is much better known by it's English shortcut FAO. FAO = Food and Agriculture Organization. The FAO has it's seat in Rome. The supreme organ is the in a two-years-rhythm arranged conference. The major job of the FAO is the enhancement of the food and live standard especially in the undeveloped countries.
