Die ITU ist eine Sonderorganisation der Vereinten Nationen. Sie hat ihrem Sitz in Genf. Ihre Aufgabe ist die Koordination und Planung von Technik im Rahmen der zwischenstaatlichen Zusammenarbeit im Fernmeldewesen. The ITU is a special organization of the United Nations. It has it's seat in Genf. It's job is the coordination and planning of technology in the framework of the intergovernmental cooperation in Telecommunication.
