Los Altos war zwar Mitglied der Zentralamerikanischen Föderation, führte jedoch eine eigene Flagge. Sie zeigte drei horizontale Streifen in Blau, Weiß und Rot. Los Altos was a member of the Centalamerican Federation, and used its own flag.
It showed three horizontal stripes in blue, white and blue.

Ursprung des Landesnamens: Origin of the Country's Name:
"Republica del Sexto Estado de los Altos" heißt übersetzt: "Republik des Sechsten Staates des Hochlands". Mit dem 'Sechsten Staat' ist Los Altos als sechstes Mitglied der Zentralamerikanischen Konföderation gemeint. "Republica del Sexto Estado de los Altos" means translated: "Republic of the Sixth State of the Highlands". With the 'Sixth State' Los Altos is meant as the sixth member of the Central American Confederation.
