| Die Flagge des Ogaden zeigt drei Streifen in Grün, Hellblau und Rot mit einen weißen fünfzackigen Stern in der Mitte des hellblauen Streifens. Damit kombiniert diese Flagge die Farben von Somalia (weißer Stern auf hellblauem Grund) und der Westsomalischen Befreiungsfront (Grün und Rot). | The flag of Ogaden shows three stripes in green, pale blue and red with a white five-pointet star in the middle of the pale blue stripe. In this way that flag combines the colours of Somalia (white star on pale blue ground) and the Western Somalia Liberation Front (green and red). |

Er drückt einen Wiedervereinigungsanspruch aus, der jedoch seit dem Untergang von Somalia an Kraft verloren hat. | The star of Somalia

| Die Westsomalische Befreiungfront verwendet offenbar verschieden gestaltete Flaggen, bzw ändert sehr oft deren Aussehen. Sehr häufig sind die Farben Grün und Rot und der weiße Stern. Es sind aber auch Kombinationen in Blau/Rot oder Schwarz/Rot bekannt. | The Western Somalia Liberation Front uses obviously different styled flags, respectively its design is changed very often. Very frequent are the colours green and red and the white star. There are known even combinations in blue/red or black/red. |
