Friedrichsdorf ist heute ein Stadtteil der Stadt Friedrichsdorf im Hochtaunuskreis in Hessen, nördlich von Homburg. Im Zuge der hessischen Gebietsreform wurden am 01.08.1972 die Stadt Friedrichsdorf und die bis dahin selbstständigen Gemeinden Köppern, Burgholzhausen vor der Höhe aus dem Landkreis Friedberg und Seulberg kraft Landesgesetz zur heutigen Stadt Friedrichsdorf im Obertaunuskreis zusammengeschlossen.

Friedrichsdorf is today a part of the town of Friedrichsdorf in the (Upper Taunus District) Hochtaunuskreis in Hesse, north of Homburg. In the course of the Hessian territorial reform, the town of Friedrichsdorf and the previously independent communities of Köppern, Burgholzhausen vor der Höhe from the district of Friedberg and Seulberg were merged on 1 August 1972 by virtue of state law to form the present-day town of Friedrichsdorf in the Upper Taunus District.
