Die Staatsflagge von
Neu Hampshire wurde in ihrer heutigen Form am 24.02.1909 eingeführt. Sie zeigt ein blaues
Grundtuch und darauf das Staatssiegel. Am 01.01.1932 wurde die Flagge im Siegel ein wenig
modifiziert.
The state flag of New
Hampshire was introduced in its present form on 24th of February in 1909. It shows a blue
bunting and on it the state seal. On 1st of January 1932 the flag became modified a little
bit in the seal.
Das Siegel stammt von
1775 und zeigt den Bau des Schiffes "Raleigh" auf der Helling von Portsmouth im
Jahre 1776 während des Unabhängigkeitskrieges. Es war eines der ersten 13 Schiffe die im
Auftrag der US-Marine gebaut wurden. Die Inschrift rings um das Siegel lautet: "SEAL
OF THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE". Bis 1932 lautete die Inschrift: "SIGILLUM
REPUBLICAE NEO HANTONIENSIS".
The seal is from 1775
and shows the construction of the ship "Raleigh" on the slipway of Portsmouth in
1776 during the Independence War. It was one of the first 13 vessels which were built on
behalf of the US-Navy. The inscription around the seal is: "SEAL OF THE STATE OF NEW
HAMPSHIRE". Until 1932, the inscription was: "SIGILLUM REPUBLICA NEO
HANTONIENSIS". |

an eine Landschaft in England gegeben. Vorher wurde es "Laconia" genannt, bzw.
war es ein Teil von Maine. |
