Die Flagge des Bundesterritoriums Putrajaya wurde anlässlich dessen Einrichtung am 01.02.2001 eingeführt, und zeigt drei senkrechte Streifen in Blau, Gelb und Blau. Der gelbe Mittelstreifen ist doppelt so breit wie ein blauer. In der Mitte der Flagge das Staatswappen von Malaysia. Zur Bedeutung oder dem Ursprung der Farben der Flagge ist nichts bekannt.	The flag of the federal territory of Putrajaya was introduced on the 1st of February in 2001 on the occasion of its establishment and shows three vertical stripes in blue, yellow and blue. Im Jahre 1997 wurde mit dem Bau des neuen Regierungssitzes Putrajaya 40 km südlich von Kuala Lumpur begonnen. 1999 erfolgte der Umzug der Regierung nach Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur bleibt aber Hauptstadt von Malaysia.	In the year 1997 they startet with the building of the new governmental seat Putrajaya 40 km southern of Kuala Lumpur. In 1999 follows the move of the government to Putrajaya. Kuala Lumpur remains capital of Malaysia.
